I have to say that this 5 star review didn’t start with 5 stars. I designed and built an outdoor kitchen and the fireplace/pizza oven was the central point. The fan arrived late to the US via FedEx. Fedex is awful to give you information. The fan arrived completely damaged and unusable. Gemi had to ship me another fan. Another wait. Another customs nightmare. I finally got a working fan. I installed it just like the instructions. The fan works fantastic and I have to say the Gemi people were great. It makes the fireplace/oven work very well. No smoke can enter the kitchen etc. Awesome product and people.

I bought a smoke extractor from Gemi Elettronica Italia about 3 years ago, and it completely solved a long-standing issue with my chimney not extracting smoke properly. The previous setup was poorly positioned—too far forward instead of directly above the grill—so smoke would often linger or blow back, especially in bad weather. Since installing this extractor, I haven’t had any problems at all. It works reliably in all conditions and made a huge difference in usability. Highly recommended!

My Gemi fan works great! I used to get a little to a lot of smoke inside my home every time i had a fire, I could not figure out why, sometimes it was the wind and other times a mystery! - but now? NONE! Def took some professional installation and an electrician to connect the fan to power, but now that it's up and running i couldn't live without it. During this last North East blizzard, even with the very high winds, the Gemi fan kept the smoke moving up and out the chimney. I usually start on 3 to get a draft going and then drop the speed to 1 once the fire's going, over 3 you can faintly hear the sound of the fan but below 3 it's very quiet.

I order this equipment for BBQ use in open/closed space on my rooftop (summer & winter season). Equipment came on time, package was as strong as needed and everything arrive without damage. Construction materials are very good and time last up to now in excellent condition. After installation i wasn't expecting so good results in open space, although exceed my expectations easily. I strongly suggest it for every use described.

I ordered the Gémi chimney fan copper. It arrived from the other side of the world in a few a weeks and in good shape. My brick chimney top needed some alteration so I had a builder help. The fan works beautifully. The six speeds give the full range from barely a breath to turbo charged. It has completely solved my smoky room problem .
